Scott Lithographing Announces the Acquisition of Art Laminating & Finishing
Tucker, Ga. June 30, 2023 – In a landmark move within the printing industry, Scott Lithographing (Scott Litho), a Tucker, Georgia-based company has proudly declared the successful acquisition of Art Laminating & Finishing, located in Atlanta, Georgia. This strategic merger between two industry veterans signifies a monumental evolution of the services available to their valued customers.
Founded in 1966, Scott Litho’s third-generation lineage in trade offset and digital printing has not only established a solid foothold within Georgia but has also extended its service beyond state borders. Scott Litho’s incorporation of Art Laminating & Finishing, renowned for an array of services including film lamination, special coatings, die cutting, foil stamping, embossing, premium presentation packaging, and point-of-purchase products, will tremendously expand the product line that both branches offer.
As part of the deal, Scott Litho has also acquired The Colad Group, a Buffalo, New York-based team. The group is lauded for its design and production of products ranging from paper folders and binders to innovative custom packaging solutions. Many of its creations showcase patented designs and employ state-of-the-art construction styles, enhancing the overall product line of Scott Litho even further.

Art Laminating & Finishing and The Colad Group will continue operations out of their locations in Atlanta, Georgia and Buffalo, New York. However, there are ongoing plans to consolidate all manufacturing operations at the Tucker, Georgia headquarters. This strategic relocation will further streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ultimately lead to even more robust product and service offerings for their customers.
