The primary responsibilities of the Print Estimator and Project manager at Scott Litho is to prepare cost estimates on routine and complex jobs as required by customer's requests; to assist with sales, purchasing, and management of our clients print projects;
and effectively communicate internally and externally to ensure workflow success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for offset, digital, and print finishing projects.
• Maintain production schedule.
• Complete and maintain job ticket and all paperwork, purchase orders, records, invoices, and all associated documents.
• Attention to detail of outlined specifications on sales orders, sample layouts, and mock-ups to calculate unit and production costs.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Participate in productions meetings to provide strategic recommendations on print orders including material, shipping, and more.
• Serve as primary contact to clients for updates and to manufacturing for job tickets. Effectively communicate issues to clients and to various departments as needed.
• Contact paper and finishing vendors to acquire pricing, seek alternatives, and request updates as needed.
• Analyze standards in estimating system.

Required Skills:

A minimum of six years of project management in offset print required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review job ticket and plan work processes to ensure a high standard of quality and on-time delivery of clients’ jobs
• Independently set up folders, stitchers, and cutters for operation
• Quality control of completed jobs
• Make adjustments as needed to maintain a timely flow of material
• Unload machine and stack materials on pallets or boxes
• Troubleshoot machine problems and proper machine maintenance

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in bindery leadership
• Leadership, and people management
• Mechanically inclined and production oriented
• Excellent attention-to-detail
• Able to communicate job specification to bindery team
• Able to frequently lift and/or move 35-50 lbs

• Set up, load, and operate a Bobst die cutting machine
• Troubleshoot problems associated with Bobst die cutter
• Perform maintenance of machine as needed
• Operate machine to meet a predetermined production schedule
• Ability to interpret outlined specifications and instructions on job orders

Required Skills:

• Mechanically inclined and production oriented
• Excellent attention-to-detail
• Able to frequently lift and/or move 35-50 lbs
• Job Type: Full-time

**Candidates with scrap-on-press experience or corrugated experience are a plus.

**Schedule is 6:30 a.m. -3:15 p.m. Overtime or weekend work may be required.

• Set up, load, and operate a stamping an embossing dies (copper and brass)
• Troubleshoot problems associated with stamping equipment
• Perform maintenance of machine as needed
• Operate machine to meet a predetermined production schedule
• Ability to interpret outlined specifications and instructions on job orders

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in stamping
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Mechanically inclined and production oriented
• Excellent attention-to-detail
• Able to frequently lift and move 35-50 lbs
• Job Type: Full-time

**Diecutting, Kluge, or Bobst experiences are a plus.
Schedule is 6:30 a.m. -3 p.m.

**Overtime or weekend work may be required.
